Our story
I'm 53 years old. While most of my friends are already thinking about becoming grandparents, I'm raising my son, who's almost 2. I had already been a father before, at 21 and 23, and today those two kids are working professionals. But doing it again thirty years later made me see something I didn't see back then: how much easier parenting becomes when you have the right tools for what actually happens day to day, not the ones that just look good on a shelf.
We live in a hot city, with frequent power outages, where a doctor's appointment can mean sitting in a waiting room with poor air conditioning, and where many of us raise our kids in small apartments that require constant order and cleanliness to keep the baby healthy. In that context, every minute counts: preparing formula can't take so long that the baby loses sleep, and losing power can't mean your child overheats or is left in the dark exactly when they need it most.
